When it first opened, I thought that the Intercontinental was up there in terms of high quality Boston hotels. Since then, they've probably aged a bit while many nicer options have sprung up. The hotel is still plenty nice, but a little sterile. Rooms can be a little noise. The bar area was so loud that we needed to leave it. Parking is very expensive and you have to pick up your own car. I can't imagine that we'll return anytime soon.

I have requested for river view they gave me this view as attached no river I could see at all. And when I asked for higher floor they said I should pay $ 250 per night extra!other wise the city was clean and safe I would love to revisit Boston in future

We really appreciated an extra cleaning of room when we returned late one night. Cleaned our room twice that day without us requesting it. Spa and breakfast buffet were good but overpriced.
