The staff and property were fine and we enjoyed our stay. The real problem was with Expedia not being honest with the total cost of the room. The price we ended up paying was higher than the advertised price posted on Expedia's website. Talking to the hotel staff about this change was not a surprise. They said that they've had such discrepancies before with other customers using Expedia and other "discount" travel agents. Be careful that you are getting the discount you're expecting when using these discount travel agencies.

There was blood on the mattress that was showing under the fitted sheet. The floor left my feet black and when I wiped water up with a towel it left the towel black. There were no pool towels and when we asked for new shower towels we were told they would bring them to the room and it took an hour and we were told there was a long list of people needing towels like this is a common occurrence. No one at the front desk or answering the front desk phone in the evenings. Half of the mood lighting in the count yard is out. The restaurant guest take up all the parking and the restaurant activities definitely take away from the hotel guest accommodations.

Love water upon check in, they help you with early check in if available, love the pool and jacuzzi and restaurant and koi pond! Love to be able to walk .5 miles to get to Nisene forest. Staff was so nice all around and appreciated those who really helped our kids with koi fish food and fast service at meals

Hated this trip! Noisy guests above and either side of my room and I could hear every word! Poor service at Sevys Restaurant...waiter charged the wrong CC's for me and my guest and we had to ask for everything twice.

For what we paid during off season, we expected a pretty nice hotel. Instead, it was one of the loudest rooms we have ever stayed in. You can literally hear every person above us, next to us and every person coming back to their room all night long. On top of that our toilet seat was broken and they charge $10 to park your car in parking spots our car could barely fit. Not a bad hotel (more like a motel), but not for what we paid.
