The sign for this hotel says Midwest Inn, so we weren't sure at first if we were at the right place. They were remodeling the rooms, so there was some construction. The staff was so nice! It's a quaint place. We stayed in room 110, and it was remodeled in a country chic style. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. The floors to get to the room were a little scary- they looked rotted and like they might crash down with too much pressure, but I think they were working on that. No breakfast served. There was a pool but it was still covered from winter. No coffee machine, hair dryer, ice bucket or Kleenex box in the room. It was not loud at all for a Friday night stay. For the amount I paid for the room, and the location, it was good overall!
