Bad Odor
The curtain was torn and would not close. Had to use paper clip to get curtain to close. The odor (some type of musty smell) was terrible. Could not sleep. Wife woke up nauseated. Came in late. Office closes at 11. Had no choice to remedy problem. On check out told office of odor. Said it was carpet. Why would you assign a room knowing there was a problem? I do not know why this motel was listed as excellent.

The room needed a little upgrading. The bed was really tall, but the tv was sitting on the dresser in front of the mirror. This made it too low to watch in bed. The timer for the water jet tub was not in the bathroom. It was on the wall next to the bed.

We have stayed at this property before and have always been very satisfied. This time the cleanliness had dropped severely. We stayed two nights and was very disappointed. The bathroom floor had dried leaves on it when we arrived and the carpet was dirty. The room service brought new towels but didn't clean anything for the second day.

Great value! Clean, comfortable, and a good location. If you're looking for more than that, look elsewhere, but if this is just your base-camp for spending most of your time out and about then this is perfect for you. Save your money for shopping and adventures and stay here. I'll be returning next time I come to Branson.

Room was dirty, as in “not cleaned” from previous use(s)!! They wanted to give us a double queen instead, saying “it’s two beds, same price”. I advised them that I needed a king on the first floor like I reserved, due to health reasons. They finally put us up at the Twelve Oaks Hotel, adjacent to the property. The Twelve Oaks wasn’t as nice, but at least it was clean! For the included breakfast, we will have to get in our car and drive back to the Spinning Wheel! I think we will pass on the breakfast included. Add these properties to the not returning list! By the way, these are the only two Branson hotels we have on that list!!
