Check in was quick, unit in a quiet area and it was a one bedroom oceanview unit with kitchen. Unit size was good but a little outdated. Bathroom fan was extremely noisy and it turns on with the light. Bed was a bit to firm and caused some aches. View and convenience to beach was great. No shells on this beach front but many clam holes. We enjoyed Driftwood beach and Hortons pond trail, both very close by. The restaurant for dinner was closed till November and the breakfast area was closed on Sundays and Mondays which happen to be the days of our stay. We went the 3rd week in September and weather was warm.

Great place to stay in jekyll!
This was our third time at the villas. There was a miscommunication between the hotels.com reservation to the property and we were initially assigned the wrong type of property. The manager immediately took care of the issue and was great! All staff were friendly and the condo worked perfectly. Compared to years past, this condo did not feel as clean as the others, but was still another wonderful stay!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm hello. Although they were working on finding accommodations for another guest, the wait time was minimal. We wanted quiet and as much alone time as possible, and that's exactly what we got. The weekdays worked out perfectly for us. The shops were close by. We didn't find what we wanted but it was a nice area to check out. Good getaway.

Villas by the sea is a great place to stay. Clean and convenient to all Jekyll has to offer. You can walk from the villas to Driftwood Beach which is a must see.!!

The property was amazing. Its proximity to Driftwood Beach was such a bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful during check-in and check-out. Our family absolutely loved the entire villa and was begging to come back before we even left.

Property wa ma great for families. There’s a wonderful play area for little kids. The pool is great. Nice big area 3-8 ft deep. And a separate kiddie pool 1-2 feet deep. Plenty of seating around the pool deck. Check in and out was easy. Short walk to the beach but definitely check the tide chart. If it’s high tide you won’t have any beach to walk out onto. But other nearby beaches are larger and still have plenty of beach area during high tide. My only complaint about the condo (259) was that there was very limited parking on nights that the restaurant Driftwood Bistro was open it’s attached to the main lobby of the villas by the sea and as soon as it opened up for the evening, our parking spot in front of our condo would be gone which is super inconvenient especially being paying guests of the resort. Should do something about that. There’s no markings indicating that the spaces are for guests staying at the resort. This is really my only complaint but kinda a big one.
