I recently stayed at the newly opened Akra Hotel in Antalya, and it quickly became one of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve had. The hotel is completely redesigned with natural materials, minimalist elegance, and a genuine respect for both people and the environment. It’s peaceful, modern, and deeply thoughtful in every detail. What impressed me most was the personalized service. From the very beginning, the staff noted my dietary preferences and sensitivities—and managed them throughout my stay with such care. This human-focused approach made me feel truly seen and valued. The culinary experience was outstanding. Akra features four exceptional restaurants led by world-class chefs, using organic, locally sourced ingredients. Every meal was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The rooftop restaurant, with a breathtaking ocean view, offers a Michelin-level dining experience, and the jazz club adds an elegant evening touch. We loved the fact that it was ultra-inclusive including a la carte. Buffet was delicious and so varied. Menu changed for every meal time and was never boring. We could have endless drinks and desserts when we wanted too. There were always things to do for adults and children a like. We loved the shows they had put on in the evenings too. Their mini club (babysitting service) for children looked fun and very useful if you have children aged between 4 to 10 and you need a bit of a time yourself. Although our toddler was too young to join the activities, and we had to supervise him, it was nice to have a space where he can play with toys in a calm environment. The resort was also very clean and staff were always helpful. They even gave us packed lunch for the day we flew back home, which was nice. Highly recommend if you need some time to relax and have fun without worrying about planning for your holidays.
