Excellent location, great service, nicely appointed rooms. The only thing is — the rooms are not carpeted and room service won’t deliver if you only order soup as it’s done by a third party and there is limited parking at the hotel. Otherwise it is a really beautiful hotel, with great service.

Fantastic hotel right in the centre of Sydney. We were travelling with a toddler and were able to check-in early which was really appreciated. The check-in staff was really lovely as were all the hotel staff. The hotel is gorgeous. The lobby is well maintained and very chic. The room itself was clean and comfortable with all the amenities that you need. The items in the mini fridge were complementary too which was great. It was super easy to get to the hotel via public transport, the train is approx 5 min walk from the hotel. There is so much to do around the area, lots of good local bars and restaurants and it’s very close to the darling harbour area. I would not recommend the Italian restaurant outside the hotel but I would recommend the Malaysian place. Highly recommend this hotel

The property is in an excellent location for shopping, transport, restaurants and CBD. The beds were the comfiest I have slept in for a long time and the property is well kept.

It was a beautiful refurbished hotel but kept the old charm too and so handy to CBD, everyone was very pleasant and helpful, lovely breakfast and having other restaurants right there too.certainly stay there again and recommend it to others

A couple of unpleasant surprises
When the booking was made an enquiry was submitted about check in time and the availability and cost of parking. The response was, in hindsight, ambiguous as I understood parking was included in the room rate. It was not and added $65AUD to the cost. This was one of the more expensive places we have stayed so this was disappointing. The other concern I had was the additional hold on my funds of $100AUD I was not anticipating - in case of damages. These funds were returned but I was advised, when I asked, it could take up to 12 days to be refunded. Other than that, it is a great location.
