It was a beautiful resort with amazing staff. The only feedback I have is that there was painting being done on my 2 night at the hotel and the smell was super strong to a point it was giving me a headache.

Best beach on the strip by far. The staff takes great care in maintaining it, which other hotels don’t seem to do. Staff were amazing. The hotel is beautiful. Mexican restaurant and the Krystal were our favourites, we didn’t care for the Japanese or the Italian. The steak restaurant is just that, a big piece of steak. Room service could be better. The bed could be more comfortable, our king sized bed was extremely firm.

I was particularly unimpressed with the beach guys. They don't respect if you sit by yourself and take your umbrella away.I thought that was rude. I liked some of the special restaurants, and I left a tip on all of them, even though the best were the black-and-white steakhouse and the Krystal. Make sure you give your waiter in the breakfast room a $ for every time you are there and they will treat you very well.

For an adult only resort, there was not much amenities to do. Definitely not a "party" resort. Very old, chill vibe only. Bar lounges close early! Beach area is small. Alcohol options weren't really good & WARM all the time. The rooms are outdated, AC did not work, fridge kept dying, and the bathroom water smelled like sewer. Mainly just enjoyed being able to go to the themed Pool Party via shuttle bus during our stay - it was so much fun there but if the pool party is the reason you want to stay at a RIU, choose other locations.

Best hotel, but I had to go over 12 times in my 4 days stay to get new room card since it get deactivated over and over & over, it’s the worst part one you want to get to the room and doesn't work and had to go all the way down to get new card

Beautiful property, very helpful and attentive staff. The dining options within the resort were a bit lmited, however; the meals we had were delicious. There is transport to other resorts owned near RIU Las Americas for added dining options. The area is walkable and shopping is close by. Overall a fantastic stay and we plan to return again next year.

I got honey moon for my brother’s wedding and asked them to do something special at least a note with some sweet treats. They said ok, no problem we will do it! And NOTHING! Reputation lagging
