It’s an older hotel and they haven’t updated to key cards/doors. There were three of us and we had one key. The carpet was lifted in the hallway quite bad. The room was clean but it smelled old and wet. It was very small. It’s the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. The bathroom was tiny - clean and mostly remodelled - but tiny and lacked ventilation for humidity. The provided bagged breakfast was creative and quite good, costing only $5 a person. It was a unique feature. The lobby was beautiful. I booked and paid for a premium room with two queen beds, a balcony, and mountain view - got a standard room with two double beds, no balcony, and a view of a parking lot/other hotel. For what I paid, I am not really pleased. It’s pricey in Canmore no matter what because it’s a tourist place but $465 for one night was outrageous for this room.

Great option if you don't want to spend $$$ in Banff. Location was right off of hwy so easy to go to Banff etc. not 5 stars or anything but that isn't needed if you will be staying out most of the day..

I like the location as it is in the center of the town. The staff were also nice and helpful! However, our room was on the ground floor and a few people were staying just right outside the room. We can hear them at night and we didn’t feel very comfortable about it. It would have been better if we were on the 2nd floor.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Overpriced as per most accommodations in Canmore. The air conditioner blew cold air directly onto the bed and there was no way to adjust the flow which made it very uncomfortable to sleep.

Old school charm... super location...
Great little place... vintage feel but clean and super convenient. Everything we were llooking for at the price. Nice wine and cheese hour in the afternoon as a bonus.

This one was fine, but not great. Hotel room felt its age. Small bathroom counter and poor shower pressure. That said, we had a mountain view balcony that was heavily utilized by my family and the afternoon wine reception was very nice. One staff went out of his way to assist on rescuing a beloved children's toy that got left behind.

Property was good, price was a bit higher, I noticed bed head rest was dusty, the pillow were very unconformable, washroom bath didnt even have any shampoo or soap. Was Quiet place which was good.
