Balcony offered nice view of mountains, and you could just step outside to cool off if needed. Breakfast was great. Hotel staff knew very little about the area and couldn't offer much advice on hiking trails or anything. Oh, I was surprised to see rainbow (gay) flags flying at the lobby desk. I don't recall seeing that on their website.

Really enjoyed our stay! The room was super clean, staff were friendly and easy to deal with, and the pool with the slide was a hit with the kids. The free breakfast was actually really good too — lots of choices and fresh. Would definitely stay here again!

The breakfast option was below the average, also the fixture and furniture were pretty old, next day while taking bath the shower produced a sharp noise when water is running and it remains till our last day in the room. We wanted to change the room but due to our luggage size we have decided to stay in the same room.

The room was spacious, beds comfortable, and it was lovely to have Rocky Mountain Soap products in the bathroom. I have stayed here many times and it has not disappointed. Canmore is a walkable little town and the hotel is close to a lot of ammenities.

The hotel is well located, offers a nice breakfast and the staff is friendly. The building is a bit dated and depending on the room you get, you’ll see more things in need of a renovation. It’s an ok stay for a couple of days.

I booked this hotel through Expedia yesterday. When we checked in, we were given a “standard room,” but we quickly found out there was no air conditioning and the fridge was broken. We asked the front desk, and they told us this was “normal” — if we wanted AC and a working fridge, we had to pay extra to upgrade. It was extremely stuffy, and we had no choice but to pay for the upgrade. This was very disappointing and felt misleading. If you’re booking this hotel, call first to confirm whether your room actually has air conditioning and a working fridge. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.

I only deducted one star because noise penetrates the room quite easily (top floor, away from stairs and elevators). People walking by and various random noises really disrupted my sleep, which is a bummer when you’re on vacation. Otherwise, I had an awesome stay with no complaints.

The view from our window was lovely. The staff were all so sweet. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve seen for included in the room rate. Great birthday adventure for my son!
