Water's Edge is a newly renovated 3rd floor condo with a view that will take your breath away! From the balcony you'll see sunrises, dolphins swimming, pelicans & during peak season there is a full fireworks display every Thursday night! It's a 5 minute walk to the Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar and 1.2 miles to either the Carolina Beach boardwalk & the Kure Beach Pier. For a fun day trip, take the ferry to Southport, visit NC Aquarium, or tour the Battleship just off historic downtown Wilmington!

This condo has it all, great views from your private balcony, Ocean just steps away, year-round heated indoor pool and hot tub, and a seasonal outdoor pool.

The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, direct access to the oceanfront balcony, a flat screen TV, an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a closet with hangers.

The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, a flat screen TV, a closet and also direct access to a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The 3rd bedroom is equipped with two twin size beds. There are additional blankets in the closets and extra towels in the bathrooms.

Weekend with Friends

Beautiful view and condo was very enjoyable. Hot tub was a great way to warm up in the cold weather. Things we did were no more than a 5 minute drive (markets, parade, restaurants). Great food at Michael's Seafood Restaurant and Kate's Pancake House! Hosts were very responsive to any communication while we were there! Upon arrival, construction was underway on the exterior. Looks like the property as a whole is undergoing improvements. Just a couple areas on the interior we mentioned to hosts that may need a little TLC, but nothing that would stop us from returning. Look forward to going back again!

Great get away

This was an outing for my 86 yr old Mom. She had a wonderful time. On our way home she kept saying, " can we just turn around and stay longer". We had a small hiccup upon arrival but the hosts immediately helped us through it. We hope to go back next year. ❤️ it.

The condo is very nice and clean. It has a great view. Chuck and Jennifer are extremely communicative and helpful. Unfortunately our trip was cut a bit short because of a tropical storm. We'll certainly return.

Unit was nice except for issue with washer and dryer which wasn’t solved by the time we left. Great view of the ocean. Parking is bad. They charge you to park just about everywhere you go. Limit restaurants. No good seafood restaurants. Great ice cream especially Swigley’s

Holiday Stay

Our family stayed for the week of 4th of July. Although the weather wasn’t great, the condo provided exactly what we needed. Beautiful views of the ocean, indoor and outdoor pools were great for the kids. It’s close to many restaurants and activities in the area. The only drawback was having to use a key card to get into and out of the beach and pools. With only two cards, it made it difficult for a family of 7 to navigate getting around the facility.

Deceiving/Disappointing

The reviews and pictures were not accurate, as they indicated pristine, very clean, responsive host. none of this was accurate. The floors were dirty, the furniture sandy/dirty (not stained as i cleaned for over 2 hours after arriving and was able to make the furniture suitable for my family to sit on, the kitchen sink had not been cleaned in some time even though there were several cleaners available under the sink, the bedroom sliding glass door was seperated from the glass, and wouldnt open properly until we greased it, the living room sliding door was unlocked and opened. We were not provided the app information for the remote access for the keypad which failed to open the door upon returning from the grocery store at 11 one evening- no return phone calls from host, property manager and finally the Fire Department was able to shim the door at 12:45 am, followong email from host apologies as she went to bed early. All of which is unacceptable. Location, views and roominess of condo were great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chuck and Jennifer’s place. The listing was exactly what we were looking for with ease of entry, communication, check in and all aspects of the listing were as described. Close to pier and the beach was nice and quiet. We would certainly go back. The one gripe I have is…..(which is NOT a complaint just an observation) Construction at the property is ongoing, didn’t seem to be very thought out or much preparedness with whoever the conctractor is. Tools were left laying out overnight, bags of grout were just laying around, overall they just seemed messy and disorganized… with many different small projects going on at once. I’m sure they are trying to get everything done before the season starts, so this wouldn’t stop me from renting Waters Edge again.

Beautiful condo

Water’s Edge has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It’s spacious, clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings and a spectacular view of the ocean from the master bedroom, the living room and the balcony. You are steps from the beach with a private walkway. Having a washer and dryer in the unit and linens provided is an appreciated convenience. The hosts have thought of every detail and are very friendly and easy to communicate with. We have rented this unit twice and highly recommend it.

The hosts are great and stayed in contact the entire time. The view from the 3rd floor was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. We particularly liked the indoor pool and hot tub, which was why we chose this VRBO. It certainly helped to entertain the 9 and 10 year olds. The off season price was great. It was a beautiful condo. Loved the colors in the kitchen. The view was absolutely gorgeous. The sunrise was indescribable. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The worst part was having to leave and it was pouring the rain. Thank you for allowing us to stay. It was memorable.

Great get away

We had a great stay here. The unit itself was very clean and exactly as described. Plenty of beach chairs and stuff for the kids to bring to the beach. Kitchen was stocked with more than enough utensils and equipment. Even had a crock pot. There was plenty of spices already there as well as some coffee and small creamer cups. Communication with owners was easy and received quick replies. There are 2 parking passes provided for you. The door code for entry was a little confusing at first, but got the hang of it after the first day. The building itself could be a little cleaner, and some attention to the indoor pool area is needed. Overall a great stay. Will stay there again. Book with confidence.
