I was charged for a cup of coffee and the porter would not allow me to drink it in the room. The bathroom/tub is poorly maintained. The paint is peeling off. The shower head did not work. The baseboard tiles were cracked and dirty. The noises/yelling and loud talking next and above from guests were unacceptable and offensive. It a really bad experience.

Needs some updates….
Bathroom was not clean, hair on the floor, rust in the shower. No service with cable in the morning. The cable remote was not working properly. Outlets on the bed stand not working.

They did a nice job remodeling the property, but you do not want a room on the outside of the property as it is very loud. Highway traffic and trains all night long.

Losing faith...
I am trying to convince myself its worth it to save a few bucks instead of staying at the BW down the road. I was put on the 3rd floor, facing the street, for 5 days. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, and even trains at all hours. When asked to be moved up a floor, and to a different side, I was told it is a $40 upgrade to do so. Turning on the shower, I got to see someone else's hairs float up and around the tub while the water got hot. I will be staying one more time this year (Dec 26-28), and if it isn't any better, it will be my last time.

Noisy. You can hear people talking in the corridor at 5AM and guests walking above our room. The building is old and was never upgraded. The bathroom door is hard to open and close.

The location showed it age even though the room was updated it still had issue with the shower tub and the bed was uncomfortable. There were constant intervals where trains were running nearby making it difficult to sleep. The bar was loud and very uninviting due to the music choice and the restaurant was not what would be expected especially with the very limited time frame. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Not what it appears to be.
At arrival (late night) the staff was not so friendly. Later discovered a pool of muddy water on the nightstand under the lamp and a pool of water on the floor. There was no place to store clothes or enough hangers. I reported all to the front desk and was given the business card for the maintenance department to talk it out with them (like I was an employee of the hotel). Several other things were evident related to the cleanliness and maintenance of the place.
