Not the cleanest of hotels, that’s for sure. The bathroom floor was sticky. And breakfast was not ready until about 45 minutes after it was supposed to start.

Had requested a top floor room because i am a light sleeper, Given a middle floor room stating that there weren't any cleaned rooms. Our room was not cleaned properly nightstand, desk and credenza were dirty, sticky with dried food on them. Microwave was dirty inside. Carpets was not vacuumed. Bathroom had long black haiirs on the floor. Someone's bar soap was on the tub. The elevator floor was dirty. No cookies.. the bed was comfortable. Choice hotels had contacted me after we checked in. They asked if we needed anything. I told then the issues. They apologized and said a front desk agent would be contacting us. Nobody came or called to the room. .

Worst hotel experience of my life.
Awful. 1st room given the door was unlocked and the room unclean, beds stripped. 2nd room the beds looked like someone had just left, both beds unmade. 3rd room at least appeared clean but the temperature was sweltering and couldn’t be regulated. Ended up just leaving. No offer of a refund or credit (yes, it was booked as non-refundable, but this should have still been refunded. The whole place is run down.

The clerk told us right off the bat, took them awhile to find a clean room that was available, they did have a heated pool and it was quiet, staff was also friendly but breakfast was scarce, they ran out of plates, utensils and most of the food. Also, poor lighting out front

I’ve stayed at many Country Inn and Suites and had good experiences, but this hotel is not well-maintained. The floors and common areas are dirty. Our room only had one hanger, and the employee at the front desk could only find me one more. The breakfast area was out of bowls for the entirety of our 3 night stay. People were improvising and having cereal in coffee cups. We asked for more batteries for our tv remote, and they didn’t have any. (It ended up not being the batteries. I had to reprogram the remote to work with the tv.) The tv would turn on in the middle of the night. The only way to get it to turn off was to unplug it. The windows in the pool area are broken. Our keys stopped working multiple times per day and had to be reprogrammed by the front desk. The breakfast food was not kept well stocked. Our room didn’t have a box of tissues, so I had to go get one from the front desk. We registered 4 guests, but there were only 3 bath towels in the room. Also, the hotel is so close to the interstate that it was really loud and the room actually vibrated when big trucks drove by.

The room door was broken. The room hadn't been cleaned or made up. The agent at the desk did not seem to be able to deal with any process outside of a simple straight forward check-in. The next room she went to check for us herself and it was occupied. Meanwhile the line at the desk grew with people whose keys didnt work and another check in whose room wasnt made up. Then our room we finally got into (the third) was set at 59 degrees and it was a cold winter night - we were looking forward to warmth. We travel this route monthly and usually stay at Country Inn & Suites but this discourages us from future stays.

I rarely give a hotel such a low rating, I try to find the silver lining in everything. However, this Country Inn is in extremely poor condition. The best way I can describe it is to imagine a roadside motel that has been abandoned for about 6 months. That's really exactly what it feel like. To be frank I'm stunned by the number of 10/10 ratings. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my life and this one is one of the worst. I don't fault the staff who were busy but fine to interact with. The whole entire hotel is desperately in need of a floor to ceiling remodel. I can't even pick one thing as the worst thing. I guess maybe the drains that don't drain? Or maybe the tiles that are falling off? Or the mattress that was positively coated with stains? Take you pick, there are more. Gross carpet, smells that are competing to see which can be most offensive. Etc. It's pretty bad.

Susan was amazing at the front desk BUT she def needed help - Friday night, day after thxgiving, snow. We were third in line to check in but took 25 min in the chilly lobby (by the main door). Breakfast was really not okay this time - hot food was not hot; microwave worked only 1 second at a time no matter what setting; styrofoam plates; flimsy plastic ware that broke when trying to get it out of the individual packaging.

I checked in here as a last resort when my previous booking had bedbugs. The hotel staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. However, my room was a fair bit dusty and had cob webs. The bed was clean as was the bathroom. It was decent for the evening. Breakfast was lacking and they had a lot of cereal but no milk. I wish they would enforce a shoe rule in the dining area. Several guests were barefoot in the lobby and dining area, making for a gross breakfast experience.
