Walking into the room the first thing you’re hit with is the awful smell of wet dog. The pillows were horrible, so soft you needed 3 pillows to have any kind of support. The breakfast was basic and extremely small. The elevator made a strange sound so we took the stairs the whole time, from the third floor. When they came to turn down the room they didn’t leave any clean wash cloths and took the old ones. Only positive was the location & the half kitchen in the room. 2/10 stars would not stay again.

In town for a birthday.
We use to live in Summerville, so we knew this area really good and wanted to be in this central location. Location is great, close to the interstate,close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff was great. The room was clean. My breakfast bar was great, better than most hotels we've stayed at. We only had 2 issues. The " blanket" is as thin as the top sheet. Thankfully we were in a room with 2 beds and didnt need the other bed, and pulled off that "blanket" and used it as well. Second issue was the bed. My back is still hurting from it. Very uncomfortable. But otherwise we had a really nice stay.

The gentleman at the front desk in the evening was very pleasant. Checking in was fast and easy. The room was clean and quiet. The only thing which is a personal preference is that all of the pillows were too soft.

My only complaint, which may sound petty, is the pillows were so thin it was like sleeping on an empty pillow case. The manager found 1 extra pillow for us, but it was equally limp. So we used clothing folded up as pillows.
