Ceiling Carbon monoxide detector is covered with paper rendering it inoperable. Vent in bathroom is loaded with lint and dust…vents probably haven’t been cleaned in years. Door jam has been jimmied. Looks like someone used a crow bar. Bathroom shower rail is sloped because only one screw holding it up . Room 162 West Ashley (Charleston)

It's only a 10-minute walk to bus stops, convenient to go to Charleston downtown or Folly Road. The breakfast is great! There were scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, cereal, bread, muffins, waffles, coffee, juice, fruits, yogurt, etc.

November visit to Charleston
The room was comfortable. I had a broken clothes rack in the closet, and the vent fan in the bathroom did not work. The cleanliness and eco-friendly service was great. The staff was warm and friendly, with smiles and greetings when I came by. Breakfast items were plentiful, with hot items and fruit and cereal. Good place to stay. Convenient location for my needs.

The beds could have been queens instead of doubles but hey we get what we pay for. Overall the staff was wonderful the rooms were decent but a little bit of mildew smell due to the moisture, but not much you can do about that.
