Traditional look in great location for views bars and restaurants. Very lively area with a holiday feel. We booked a twin room with balcony overlooking the creek ( river ) which was well worth it. Grab and go breakfast was plentiful and enough for most people. Only negative was that we were warned that the outside was being painted which we were ok with and made the hotel very smart but there was a mess left on our balcony which reception seemed unable to deal with. However the manager quickly resolved it to our satisfaction.

I didn’t feel safe driving in. Very small parking lot . Confusing layout, wasn’t sure where the lobby was. The room was rundown, small, and marginally clean. Lots of drunk loiterers in the parking area. The view out to Shem Creek was nice and we liked the boardwalk.
