The property was stated to be only 4.5 miles from the spectrum center which is why it was chosen however it is almost twice as far. When arriving the lobby was dirty and the rooms were extremely outdated. The hotel was advertised as non smoking yet the entire place stunk of marijuana. The door keys stopped working twice in a one night stay and they had prostitutes walk in and knew them as if they were regulars at the hotel. The “breakfast was supposed to be available until 11 and when we went down at 9:30 they had cleaned up and turned off the equipment. They said check out was 11 and yet at 10 and again at 10:30 the house keepers unlocked the room and tried to walk in even though we said we would be checking out at 11 and had the do not disturb sign on the door. I would recommend strongly against booking this to anyone, it may be cheap but it was somehow still not worth the price.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was included, and I enjoyed having both Cracker Barrel and Waffle House in walking distance. During the day, the area is walkable. After it gets dark, a car is necessary to go to Cracker Barrel. There is a shuttle to and from the airport and the hotel. I hope to return again!

Good value for area. On arrival the AC didn't work, but the maintenance man arrived within 2 minutes of our call and had it fixed in less than 5 minutes. The shuttle was on time and clean

We missed our flight due to delays in Orlando and were not able to make our flight out of Charlotte due to hurricane Milton. Even though we had a room voucher to pick up at arrival from airline I went ahead and booked the first room I could find, rooms were filling up fast! After returning home, we find out that we were charged again at arrival, charged an incidentals fee of $50, none of which has been refunded/returned to our credit card. The room we had was very simple and had a total of two sets of towels which we didn't use. I don't consider those incidentals. Customer service is terrible and much to our surprise, the shuttle only runs when they want to run it. And, to reserve a seat on the shuttle to Airport you must be inside the property and sign up, not a guest arriving at the Airport. If you need transport to property this is not the place for you. I would never recommend this property to anyone. Worst travel experience of all time.

Bed bugs
We thought it looked clean, we checked for any signs of bugs. Everything seemed ok, but I woke up to a few suspicious bumps. I looked in my bed and was horrified that I found a bug. As the day progressed, more bumps appeared. The next day my daughter counted 105 bites. I had to get a prescription steroid cream cuz it was unbearable. We told the lady at service desk when we left that we found bugs and had bites, to please not assign anyone to the room we had. I called multiple times over the weekend asking to speak with a manager, why I was calling, and left my number. It is now Tuesday morning and no manager has called me. I want to know they are doing something to remedy the situation. I will call the health department today and report. My sister thankfully only had 5 bites. Edit- we stopped by Tuesday morning and spoke to front desk…still no manager, but woman working was very helpful. She said she was wondering why our room had been blocked out all weekend..so thank goodness they didn’t let anyone stay in the room we were in. She called the manager and told her of our situation. The manager then talked to me on the hotel phone, apologized and said pest control was being called and that she was going to give refund. So I feel like they did their due diligence to handle the unfortunate situation. On a positive note the beds and pillows were comfortable. The room looked clean when we arrived…no complaints there. It was just unfortunate that there were bugs.

Very nice budget friendly option for the night before early morning flights from Charlotte. Room very clean, staff friendly, bed a little firm for me, but still good. Would stay again.

Front Desk Rep who worked on Thursday has no customer service skills or care about customers. I stood for over 2 hours at the airport which is less than 3 miles away to get picked up. Then she lied on the Driver she never sent. No apologies. Kept speaking to a man and ignored me. Place constantly smells like smoking and marijuana. Breakfast, you guts can do better!!’
