Unique hotel built in 1872. Old school glamour. Starbucks in the lobby and Peet’s coffee across the street. Easy walk to Aquarium and River area.

What a wonderful experience! We chose the Read House due to convenience and reputation during the Ironman Chattanooga weekend. So impressive! Helpful and knowledgable staff, beautiful building, excellent amenities. I would highly recommend this historic hotel and if I come back again for the Ironman I'll stay here again!

The toilet was wobbly, the tub looked old and the paint had peeled off, it was dirty around the rim where the water drained. Maybe they need to update their older rooms
