A wonderful historic hotel. They provide a tour of the building and a ghost tour. The steak house was wonderful. The room was large and very comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and considerate. We will be going back!!

A whole vibe
The whole Read House hotel experience was A++. To the arrival at the valet which was so efficient and phenomenal and for the price of $28/day unlimited in going and coming is a great. The gentleman that greets you with the tip of the hat made it feel some welcoming. The check-in team was awesome. They were so kind and patience even though they had some computer issues. Now to my room.. 912 it was a king premier suite and it was so nice. Your room was so clean, comfortable and nice. The shower was huge and the berkman products were nice if you forgot your own shampoo and conditioner. You open your closet and it is stocked with your robes and which were so soft and comfy, also you have, iron, coffee maker, safe, and mini refrigerator only wish it had a microwave. The bed and mattress was so perfect, slept so good i didn't want to get up. You can order room service on certain days and we ordered breakfast and that was A+++.. The restaurant downstairs was excellent. If you want some good drinks and good food go to the bar. We didnt get to enjoy the indoor pool or the gym but they were nice. If you want a late night snack or drink there is a snack and drink machine over in the Manor side on the 4th floor. On the side we stayed on the Tower the upper floor 9-12 do not have ice machine on floor so you have to go down to the 8th floor. This wasn't an issue or nothing to complain about.. From start to checking out this hotel was an whole vibe. We will be back.

Easy to find. We used valet parking to make parking easy. Very clean room. Restaurant staff at each restaurant were wonderful and delicious food for someone with Celiac Disease.

I checked into the Read Hotel on January 3rd for three nights stay. I was impressed with all the beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the lobby. Our room was spacious, clean and perfect!

We loved our stay at the Read House. The staff was excellent, the room was beautiful with a view of downtown Chattanooga. I highly recommend the Valet as parking is difficult otherwise.

What a lovely hotel! Beautifully decorated for the Christmas season, such a neat history, and the perfect spot for a quick get away for my husband and me. Rather than using valet parking, we used a public lot across from Starbucks. The bed is the most comfortable I remember in a hotel and the bathroom (deluxe room) is spacious and nice.
