The Space:

This expansive and luxurious cabin is perfectly situated between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, bordering the National Forest. Wake up to breathtaking mountain views as you work out in the gym or improve your putting game on the private green. After a strenuous workout, unwind in the outdoor Jacuzzi or sauna before firing up the gas grill to cook your favorite meats for lunch. Enjoy your meal with loved ones at the outdoor dining table while taking in stunning views of Cohutta Mountains.
Take a long walk in the National Forest right behind the house, but be aware of the bears - it's their territory! As the sun begins to set, gather around the outdoor fire pit with a glass of wine to witness a beautiful sunset. With a modern rustic style throughout the house and exquisite finishes, The Secret boasts an open floor plan with the master bedroom on the main floor and three additional bedrooms on the lower level, all of which offer stunning mountain views. The house accommodates a total of 8 guests, with one king bed, three queen beds, and a twin bunk bed. Please note that the 4th bedroom is separated from the gym by long and elegant curtains for privacy.
For families traveling with babies and young children, we recommend BabyQuip, which offers a variety of rental essentials, such as full-sized cribs, child beds, strollers, car seats, toys, books, high chairs, carriers, noise machines, baby baths, bouncy seats, pack ‘n plays, monitors, jumpers, and more. BabyQuip can deliver these items ahead of your arrival and pick them up when you depart. Our property management team is happy to coordinate this service for a seamless experience.
Service dogs and ESA are always welcome. We will allow non-service/non-ESA dogs under 25 lbs. (maximum 2) with a $150 non-refundable pet fee per dog. Any dog over that weight, will be approved on a case by case basis and may require a higher pet fee. We reserve the right to also charge additional cleaning related fees from urine/feces, excessive hair removal, removing related pet smells along with amounts associated with destruction of property over $150 that the pet fee would cover.
Guest Access:
Guests are able to access the home using a custom code specific to their reservation checkin/checkout times and dates. This will be provided 24 hours prior to checkin, and used on the door's electronic key pad.
The Neighborhood:
Located roughly 90 miles from Atlanta, the highly sought after upscale, gated community The Heights is nestled right in the Blue Ridge Mountains with beautiful winding roads, incredible views and gorgeous homes. Located minutes away from countless hiking trails, waterfalls and pristine Lake Blue Ridge. Only nine minutes away, is the adorable town of Blue Ridge - home to award winning dining, the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, shopping and craft breweries. The beautiful Mercier orchards are only a couples miles away as well.
Getting Around:
Atlanta is just an hour and half away. It's important to note that Cherry Log is a rural area, and transportation services might be limited. Here's a guide on getting around:
Private Vehicle: Having your own car or rental vehicle is the most convenient and best option for getting around Cherry Log.
Taxi, Uber, Bus: Bus, tax, and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft might have scheduled hours of availability in the area.
Other Things to Note:
*Minimum age to book is 25 years old. A rental agreement from Viac Management will be sent for signature following the confirmation of each reservation. Signing this document is mandatory.
*This is a NON SMOKING property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 fee will be charged if smoking is detected.. We have smoke detectors in place that alert us to cigarette and marijuana smoke indoors. You will be fined and asked to leave with no refund of remaining nights.
*Please note that we provide complimentary toiletries for your arrival, but do not restock items during your stay.
Check out is at 11am unless requested and approved for later than 11am for $90. We charge an unauthorized late checkout fine of $250.
*The home is equipped with a Ring Doorbell for easy access and security purposes, and non recording Noise sensors devices inside and outside of the home that monitor decibel levels (they do not record video or conversations).
*Please note that this is a quiet neighborhood. Strict noise policy enforced on the property, by us, the community and by City Code Enforcement. Please be respectful of your neighbors and the City Rules, as well as house rules, at all times
*We ensure that our toilets are in perfect working condition prior to guest stay. Guests are responsible for any clogging and plumbing issues caused by flushing toilet paper, paper towels, sanitary products, and other materials. If the plumber finds evidence of such items, repair costs will be charged to the guests.
