Our room was clean (especially the bathroom), which we really appreciated. Other guests weren't loud and/or rowdy, which we've encountered in other Chicago hotels. The restaurant was very good; the bartender was very friendly and accommodating. The only problem was the air conditioner in our room - it was extremely loud and woke us up whenever it would come on. This made it difficult to get a good night's rest. Otherwise, we had a very good experience.

We came to Chicago to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday on a tight budget. The hotel was basic, clean and it was extremely affordable in a very assessable area. No fridge or microwave in the room, however they gladly provided both when we called and requested them. Customer Service was AWESOME, staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop lounge area was nice! Able to check in early which was very helpful. A walk to Chicago Riverwalk was about 10 minutes. We had tons of restaurants, Jewel, CVS and Walgreens nearby, so if we needed personal things we could easily get them. Would definitely stay here again for the price and would recommend to others! Thank you Best Western River North!

The front desk staff was welcoming and kind. No complaints there. The property is situated in a very noisy area. There is also a decent amount of homeless people walking around the property looking for cigarettes. The room is dated - rugs are old, furnture is old and worn, the bathrooms are small and dated, and there’s no fridge in the room. All that said, the average rates for those rooms should be half of what they are going for.

Downtown Chicago...not bad area....smelled like mildew in the halls....elevators were tiny...not enough signs to lead you to the pool area....took a lot of wrong turns to get up there....could have been done better.

We had a nice stay at BW River North. The concierge was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The coffee maker came in handy with no breakfast available. Being able to park on the grounds was convenient and the Magnificent Mile was an easy walk. We ordered room service one evening which was great. The kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the rooftop patio. The internet was a bit sketchy but everything else was great.
