Very good

The property is very central in Cobh. Parking is at a premium. The hotel restaurant has a limited, although well prepared, list of meals.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
It was very convenient for walking in main tourist area. Room was very small and dated. Had difficult time finding room each night because up and down and half stairwells. Odd layout and did not get warned about this when checking in so hard time finding room.
This is an older property, but it is in overall very good condition, and its location is perfect--right on the waterfront. There are excellent drinking and dining choices very close.
Right on the waterfront, great views, comfortable room. Muffins a nice touch. Thanks

Parking is “first come basis” with a cost. Make sure you have reservations for dinner. We were turned away from three restaurants. Bed’s should be upgraded. If I come back, I would stay at the Commodore again.
Great staff lovely building , room not great looking out on to bins and external fan , limited menu for hotel , could do way better , but staff very helpful and friendly
Its an old building alot of cracks on walls and floors and ceiling. Smell of damp through areas of the building. Staf was amazing could not fault them doesnt mind what tome of day so that bit 10 10. Bathroom was new which made things right with other things lol good size smart tv like
Needs abit of a revamp id stay here agian just an honest review.
Everyone was very helpful and sincere about making our stay enjoyable. It was great to have a good restaurant attached to the hotel. Good food is hard to find on Cobh as the Pubs do not serve food We suggest you get the Breakfast package it is worth it. Reservations are required at most locations including the Commodore even for breakfast.
Stay here was very good. Historical hotel right on the water. Did not eat or drink as was only here for one night.
Parking is a bit of a nightmare so suggest to book a hotel car spot if you can as street parking can be very busy.
Some great bars in Cobh such as Roaring Donkey and Mimmos pizza house was awesome.
Overall love to come back for a longer stay next time.

I love Cobh and this hotel is really well placed but it needs updated. The food on the Friday night was superb but on the Sunday evening I went for the turkey and ham of the specials menu and it was almost like a microwave dinner. The turkey was just about ok and the ham was like it was out of a packet of Denny’s and the veg were not even “boil in the bag” quality. Had breakfast one of the mornings and it wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. Staff were cool and we enjoyed our stay and like I said above … we absolutely love Cobh 👌 and I liked this hotel…
