I wanted to stay in the centre of the city and despite a high number of tourists around I found it surprisingly quiet. With well fitted windows the noise was easily kept at bay over night.

Adequate for a very short stay

Very dated and carpet was dirty. They supply slippers for your feet and they were much needed! The balcony flooded in the 2 nights we stayed there due to the rainy weather. Only one mug in the kitchen and not much else to eat off.. a few plates. One pan. Water tastes disgusting out of the tap but they had bottled water to use. Wasn’t sure if this was free or not. They need to make that clear. Not a great stay, but place was very spacious and was adequate for 2 nights. We did have the maid knocking on our door at 11:20 on the 2nd day asking us to leave because she needs to clean and check out was at 11:00. We told her we were booked in for 2 days and she just huffed at me and walked away. Very bad attitude. The receptionists were lovely though and apologised for the maids behaviour after I commented on what had happened that morning.

I honestly don't understand why the place doesn't have a better rating. The interior is kind of wierd, like a mix of different styles. But that's the only thing that can be noticed. The room and the bathroom are very big and clean. Amazing friendly and helpful stuff. Great location and amenities. Great water pressure. Comfortable bathroom with the space for all your things. The only thing that can be an issue is fridge. There is no one. But I want take any points for that because overall I was very satisfied.

This hotel is run down. It looked like something out of a really bad movie. No night tables. No fridge. No soap. No tissue. The floor was filthy. I had to wear my shoes to go to the bathroom. Cheap vinyl planks on the floor and dollar store curtains on the windows. The bed is way too low to the ground and the “supposed” bed skirt was just pinned on. This is not a zero but a -10.

Great location, 3 blocks away from Koln Hauptbahnhof and Cathedral. It’s an old hotel and it’s not renovated, however bed and bath were clean, at least for me cleanliness and location is all that matter in a hotel where you are only sleeping and showering.

Overall, not a terrible place to stay for a few nights. It's a bit noisy outside with the cathedral bells in the mornings and people walking around at night, but the location is super convenient since it is right next to the train station and the Cologne Cathedral. Rooms were pretty spacious and clean.
