It's the perfect place to stay if you are planning on staying longer than overnight. I am planning on taking my vacation there. The Lady at the desk helped me to get a room that was nearer to the ground floor, because I have trouble with stares.

Clean, older facility
The hotel has not been updated. Old furniture, old carpet, old fixtures but everything was in working order and the room was very clean. Very few amenities. But the rate was very reasonable.

The staff said nothing could be done about the lady bugs in the room. The room above us and beside us also had them. There were probably 50 of them on the ceiling.

We have appointments at IU in Indianapolis, so for the last two appointments, we have stayed all night in Brown County at this hotel, shopped and then drive on to IU the next day. We have found this hotel to be really reasonable and the rooms are big. This last time, we thought we reserved a one king bed room, but when we got to the room, it was a suite. It had a kitchen, two baths, two bedrooms (both with tv's) and close to all the shops. Even though the hotel is a little old, it suits us just fine.

Could be nice if it was updated from the 90’s. Old carpet and old furniture. Has good potential. Seemed fairly clean but furniture and carpet so worn its hard to tell. Roomy.

Booked a room with 2 king size beds. It was really a suite. One room had kitchenette, dining area, king size bed and balcony. Other room was separate bedroom with door and 2nd bathroom. Absolutely loved it. I could have lived there.
