Very good

Hotel is in a very walkable section of the city, easy to access the shopping section. Small parking but we were fortunate to arrive when someone else was leaving and we manage to find a spot. The hotel itself seems a bit older, was being renovated when we stayed there, but did not impact our stay, everything went well
This is at best a 1-2 star place that I’d never stay at again. Why?
1) noise: doors and walls are paper thin. I was up all night hearing people, doors slamming, or just general noise from other tenants.
2) parking: finest parking on the property with only 1 way out. It is first come, first serve so a space may not be available so you’ll end up paying
3) construction: pricey stay despite the 1st floor having so much construction.
4) pillows: this may be an Ireland thing, but the pillows are rock hard.
personally had the worse sleep at this hotel throughout my 1 week stay. Guinness at the bar did nothing to help with all the negatives.
Friendly staff. Very good location within walking distance of city centre and historic places

Property currently under construction, it’s in a good location close to everything in Cork, breakfast was expansive and a delight, we did have an issue with room and they moved us immediately- well looked after
Even though the property was under construction it was quiet and super clean. Loved our room and met a.cool and friendly bartender on our first night arriving. Great place to visit and definitely would stay here again 🙂.
Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing a refurbishment during our stay which we were not aware of nor was this reflected in the price.
The condition of the room was fairy poor too, radiator not working (broken thermostatic valve), bath was chipped and badly stained and the basin tap was loose.
The only positives of our 2 night stay was the location and the friendly check in.
Absolutely loved our stay here. The location is perfect - on the north side of the river, so quieter and easier to park, but so walkable to everything to see in Cork. We had a lovely stroll across the river to amazing food (hundreds of placed to choose from), Cork Folk Festival and historic landmarks and enjoyed a stellar music session at the pub Sin e near the hotel. Room was everything we needed, nicely appointed and spacious.
Staff at Maldron were wonderful start to finish. Even when we had an unruly bunch partying next door, staff responded and reminded the party there were other guests around them - much appreciated!
This is a great hotel that is nice and close to the main parts of Fort William but not right in the busyness. Very short walk to tons of restaurants and pubs, including a great local brewery (a highlight for us!). Staff were helpful and kind. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Great location! Old building so unable to have all amenities of modern hotels, but enjoyed stay. Liked in room tea & biscuits with view of cemetery & Shandon Bells.

Room was quite hot and musty with what seemed like old dirty carpet. They supplied a fan and we opened the window which then resulted in hearing the traffic and screaming people passing by through the night. Hotel was dated and seemed expensive for what it was but the location was fantastic and the staff were accomodating. Would likely choose a different hotel next time in the same area.
Although rated 4 star it’s really a dated 3 star hotel. The rooms are basic and dated. The service is ordinary - first day staff didn’t offer to help with luggage for example.

My wife and I stayed at the Maldron while on the third leg of our trip. Unfortunately the first night there was a little incident that made us slight uncomfortable however the staff was quick to help us straighten things out and provide us with a new bedroom. Overall the stay was pleasant however like most have reviewed, the hotel can be very hot throughout the night but as long as you open the windows, it should be quite comfortable.
