When we arrived, the host informed us that the room we had booked wasn’t available, so they gave us a different one. When we opened the door, the room was freezing inside. We realized this was due to an AC unit embedded in the window that didn’t fully cover it, with the remaining gap poorly covered by a cupboard. Additionally, the bathroom ceiling was open, exposing the sewage pipes, and we found mold in the bathtub. The hairdryer was also broken. To make matters worse, the heating didn’t work at all. The hotel’s solution was to lend us a small portable heater, send someone to remove the AC unit so we could properly close the window, and cover the bathroom ceiling.

This hotel was in terrible condition. It was cold and dirty. Our room was not clean upon arrival and cleaning wasn’t offered over the 3 nights. We had stains all over the carpet, walls and curtains. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom. There was rarely anyone at the front desk and the front doors appeared to remain propped open. The halls smelled like cigarette smoke and it was loud at all hours - dogs barking, people shouting, etc.

Just was upset with the cleanliness mainly. Not sure if short of staff but it was pretty bad. Hair in the bathroom, floors not vacuumed, carpet stains everywhere, and oddly painter tape used as a threshold transition.

The hotel was in a good location however some of the areas are "tired" e.g. frayed caperts and dirty corridor windows, furniture in the room scratched, window opening latch broken, we had to plug in the fridge etc........The beds were made up and clean. We did not use any hotel facilities so can't comment about that. We stayed one night en route to Kamloops - would not have stayed longer.

The place was a dump. The $25 I paid for my dog to stay I would not ever put my dog in a horrible place like that again never mind myself and my lady!!’ The ceiling tiles in the bathroom were broken and falling apart the bed was shot and the carpet had stains on it All and all it was gross

The staff was super helpful and friendly! The carpets in the halls are very stained, wallpaper is coming off in many places. Garbage in parking needed to be removed. Luggage carts are wobbly. Towel rack was off the, but they came to fix it. Flashing lights in the center courtyard was a bit disconcerting. Didn't see the extra $26 per pet charge when booking through Expedia. That seemed high for 2 dogs ($52 per night!) The room would get cleaned the same as for one pet, and ours were in their crates. Beds and bathrooms were clean, and we liked having the microwave and small fridge. We loved the proximity to the walking areas by the lake, only a block away. The per night rate was very good!!!

This property sorely needs renovation. Paint carpets window treeatments. No room service. Close to public mineral pool with free admission which was nice. 1 block from the beach and lots of restaurants. No heat available had to ask for an area heater.

The room wasn't that tidy. Tv was unplugged so when I plugged everything in the area the tv was in was very dusty. Maybe 6 to 12 months worth of dust. Bath mat was wet and tub was not very clean. Staff were friendly though.

Only gave one star because you can’t post the review with zero stars. This hotel is filthy and run down. My pet friendly room was awful and I should have known better when they asked for full payment up front at check in. I spilt a some water on the bed sheets, I immediately stripped the sheets back so that the mattress wouldn’t get wet. When I exposed the mattress I was absolutely horrified to see what I had been sleeping on. The mattress had what looks to be a huge what looked like “blood” stain that had been conveniently covered up with a mattress topper. When I complained, I was told that they had no other rooms that I could be moved to and that the stain was probably from my dog peeing on the bed. My dog slept in his create and was never allowed on the bed. If I could post pictures for this review I would but can’t. The manager was rude, uninterested with anything I had to say and just shrugged his shoulders when I showed him a picture of the mattress. Disgusting, worst hotel experience that I have ever had and I travel frequently. Do not stay at here.
