Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
This place has hot springs, but they don't seem to care about improving the facilities. There are no rules for quiet time, so it's really noisy and run-down. What can we do? We don't have any other options if we want to enjoy the hot springs.
The food in the buffet was marginal bacon and sausages totally overdone no chef to make a personalized omelet. Our room was very noicseyWhen we talked to the desk in advance !wasn’t informed of a seniors getaway package, copper room was excellent! Loved the meal

The lady at the checkin counter was wonderful. She had excellent customer service and was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Even though it was very busy I didn’t feel rushed. Our room had an amazing view and was clean. Although it’s an older hotel and felt haunted in some areas it’s kept up well. It’s a very unique place to stay and if we weren’t sleeping or eating we spent every second down at the pools. Actually even after check out at 11:00 we were aloud to use the pools till 1 and we did! We just left our luggage with the bellman. I’ve stayed all over the lower mainland and this place has the most unique pools. We’d definitely come back.
We stayed in the old part of the hotel and the rooms are definitely nothing to write home about it. The rooms are overpriced but we know this and come for the pools and hot tubs which we love.
Elevator not working…..fridge very cold……had to change rooms…..tv remote hard to understand……heat thermostat hard to understand
Copper room very expensive but enjoyable
Hot pools and pools really great
We will be back in spite of the minor glinches
This property has not been updated for the past 30 years yet the prices have tripled

Good location, easy walking around from the hotel, very good location to walk along the beach.
Pools could use some updating (lots of tiles missing along kids pool) and could be a bit hotter.
Loved the room in the east tower 8th floor. Super clean. Loved the balcony with the view. Pools were nice. Fairly quiet this time of year. They just started to put up Christmas decorations and that felt magical. Will have to go again when all the decor is up.
