You pay for the location. Is it pristine as I had hoped for at $650 a night? No. But it’s still totally worth it. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating. Many amenities, some you have to pay extra for. A formidable store/grocery and an onsite restaurant. We had a two bedroom (2 queens per room) suite/house with kitchen. While the kitchen is technically stocked with cooking tools, plates/glassware/flatware, If you plan to cook like we did, we found basics missing like dish towels/a broom and dustpan would have been useful. WiFi isn’t great.

Exceptionally close to the entrance. It made our trip to Yosemite a breeze! We didn’t spend much time at the hotel because we had limited time. However, we would love to come back and enjoy the pool and the hotel more.

Convenient location and great views
Conveniently located hotel, rooms were dated, but were clean and spacious. Booked due to its proximity to Yosemite, parking and check in were easy and the hotel did have a lift. The room was quite dated, but it had air con and a modern bathroom. We ate at the pizza place on site, which served very tasty pizzas!

Good stop for Yosemite
Some of the staff were quite frosty. You need a key card to enter most areas and with a family of 4 it was difficult so we asked for another card and was told only one card would be given. Eventuality I got a second card. Rooms are vlean but dated. Pizza was great but be prepared for a queue.

Loved staying here- short drive to park!
Ok, this is an older hotel BUT it's well kept, clean and the service was great! We stayed with our 2 year old and it was amazing to be so close to the park. The pools and jacuzzis were a nice treat to have in evenings after hikes/river. The pizza place is great, the restaurant a SLAM DUNK breakfast to fuel up for a long day. The lobby has a not so little market that had practically everything we could have wanted instead of bringing from home. All in all an unbeatable stay to be that close to the park! We'll be staying here every time we visit Yosemite!

Beautiful views of Merced River and Yosemite. Staff was amazing. We ate at the River Restaurant all 3 nights and the food was very good with great staff!! Very close proximity to Yosemite National Park. We enjoyed our stay.
