I booked 2 rooms & my kids drove from Tulsa; we drove from SPI Tx. At check in. I was assured my kids, would have a room as close to us as possible. Either next door, across the hall, or very close. My kids got there around 5:15 & the hotel was unable to accommodate my earlier request, and had no notes about it either, and they were put on a completely different floor. The rooms were fine, however the toilet sits extremely low to the floor, which for older people is extremely difficult. We got the kids settled in their room, i left my phone to charge, and we went to est. We got back from dinner around 8:00 p.m. and were immediately met with hostility from the hotel staff. They claimed that they had tried calling and texting several times and I explained that my phone was in the room charging. My kids brought their 15-year-old Papillon with them we were told she was barking the entire time which is very unlike her. They claim they have a video of The Barking dog. The kids immediately went upstairs and checked on their baby, and she was fine and not barking. However there was another dog on that same floor that was barking and a very large dog at that. My kids called to state it was not their dog, but another, and the hostile staff tokd them there were multiple (lies) complaints and attempted to kick them out. While i was able to smooth things, the experience left a BAD taste and we will never return. The staff was rude, and at checkout there werent even notes about this.
