Bad experience
We were glad we were able to check in to our room early. The room was ok. No seating besides the beds and a small desk and chair. There was no closet, table, or place to set luggage except the floor or bed. Front desk said at check-in the water was being worked on and to run the water for a bit & the hot water would come. It never came. Just luke warm. Didn't get a relaxing hot shower I'd hoped for. Breakfast was sad. No eggs, cold sausage, & no fruit. Thank goodness for the pancakes and cereal. On checkout, front ofc person didn't greet me or ask how our stay was. I mentioned the hot water issue, and she didnt offer any sort of restitution just said she would leave a note for the manager. We will definitely not be staying at this Tru by Hilton again.

Property was clean and area is good, and pool table added a fun element. This would have been more than adequate stay, however, there was no hot water and the front desk was unmanned a couple times during the stay for long periods of time. We were advised on check in that there were issues with hot water, but no matter the hour or how long it ran, the water never got warm.

Overall the Tru by Hilton is a very nice, very clean comfortable hotel. The only issue that we had was, the afternoon we arrived i showered before dinner with friends and there was zero hot water. After my frigid shower i called down to the front desk and was politely apologized to, and it was then informed they had water heater issues over the weekend and she was authorized to comp me one night on my stay. She was very polite, she offered to move us rooms, but couldn't guarantee that there would be hot water in any other room. While i appreciate the politeness and the quickness to comp me a night, i was fairly frustrated that this was obviously a known problem and they took my reservation knowing there was a pretty good possibility that we would not have access to hot water. We did end up getting warm water and i left the issue alone, they had already offered the comp and i felt it wasnt worth making a huge fuss over it. Overall a nice place to stay, and the one issue i had truthfully couldve happened anywherd.

My room was very cozy and comfortable. The lady at the front desk to check me in, was sooo friendly and personable. Loved her energy. This was my first time at Tru but definitely won’t be my last.
