For the most part, everything was great. Only callout would be our first morning the ice machine was broken, which is fine. It happens. But then, we were on 4th floor, and were leaving for the day to head to opening day at the fair and 1 elevator was blocked open by housekeeping equipment and the other elevator did not seem to want to go past 3rd floor. We ensured the button was pressed, but 4 times we watched it go up to 3, and back down.
So we went in search of the stairs and ran into 2 housekeeping ladies who I explained the elevator issue to ask asked to point us in the direction of stairs and instead they went to elevators and pushed button again and stood there to verify the elevator would not go past 3. Only then did they remove their equipment blocking the other elevator and we were able to go down. I went to the front counter to inform the employee...but she did not seem to care. Instead of evening lying and saying "Thanks for letting me know, I will look into it", she just made excuses. The housekeeping ladies could not direct me to stairs or remove their equipment sooner because "most dont speak english". The elevator was not going to the 4th floor because "we have a lot of guest today". No empathy whatsoever. Just would have liked her to acknowledge that the situation was not the best, but she could look into it. She would have never needed to even tell me the outcome, just act like she cared. That is all. But everything else about out stay was spot on.
