The Bee Hotel is a unique building that used to house the local newspaper. The rooms were very spacious (we stayed in a 2-bedroom suite), beautifully decorated, and had everything we could need. The lobby, the rooftop, and the park in the center of the hotel were clean, quiet, and relaxing. But what made the Bee Hotel the absolute best hotel stay my family has had was the staff! Hannah and Chris made sure that everything exceeded our expectations. They even offered to watch our beagle for us at the front desk while the family went to dinner. About 30 minutes after check-in, we received a text from the manager making sure that we were comfortable and happy. Our family chose the Bee Hotel to meet with our daughter and son-in-law before they returned to their base in Japan next week. The hospitality that the staff showed us made our family feel special. That is why I know we will be back in the future. To top it all off...right before we checked out, we walked about 100 feet from the front door of the hotel to watch the Danville Christmas parade. Pretty dang close to being a "Hallmark moment"...if it had just started snowing. You won't be disappointed if you book a stay at the Bee Hotel in Danville, Va.

The only thing negative about the experience was that when we entered the room the Thermostat was set at 63 degrees. Temp outside was mid 30's so it took a while to get warmed up. Other than that, we loved the Hotel and the staff was amazing.

I’m not sure if the Bee is responsible for the littl park next to the Hotel but they need to have exterminator come out and get rid of the giant spider webs all around the park. And the spiders in the webs. Love the inside of the Hotel!! Staff is great and super clean rooms.

Unique property being in the old paper building, nice but missing something for the price. A bit dark. No bar and a very limited breakfast. The room was very spacious and comfortable with several close by dining options.
