Nice place to stay. The hotel is near the Amtrak station and bus stop. The room is spacious and tidy.

Only issue is that mattresses could be better. Otherwise, excellent stay.

I've / we've been staying at the PHH for at least for 35 years. I'm in the music business and always did mastering of albums with Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering in Portland. More recently, my assistant, Virginia Andrew, lives in Buxton, ME and we always get together twice a year for dinner at Fore Street. We're always delighted with our stays and will continue to be loyal customers.

Loved the close beach access!! It was very clean and cozy!

The choice of using microfiber linens was not a good one. Parking is limited, and once exhausted, only valet parking is available. An additional hot tub would be wonderful , and the current people soup caldron may be lightened. These are the obvious things that are talked about amongst the guests. They also talk about the wonderful amenities, ambience, food, and peace the facility offers.
