Our stay was good. Bed was comfortable. One of the curtains was dirty. It looks like it had either be urinated on at the bottom or the curtain soaked up some sort of colored substance. There were no wash clothes in the bathroom to use for showering. We also noticed a strong smell of marijuana in the lobby when entering the hotel after our event at night.

Room always had a damp feel like unable to get humidity out of the room. Nothing hot for breakfast and no protein at all. Only cereal yogurt and packaged muffins.

The suite had no towels and soap upon arrival. When we ran out of Kleenex, we were given toilet paper as a replacement. The paint was chipping in the shower, lightbulbs were out, the refrigerator froze our food, and the furniture was stained and very old. The TV was missing in the living room area, forcing us to watch TV sitting on the edge of the bed. Breakfast was stale rolls and cereal. No hot food offered. We will NOT be returning!

No Soap!
After checking in, we went to our room and found there was no soap! This is unforgivable. The staff said the order had not arrived? The owner or manager should have gone to the store and purchased soap, a necessity in this day and age. No more stays at the hotel for me.

Clean, comfortable and above average hotel. I was amazed that there was no soap for the guests. I was told that soap was on backorder and from the reviews this has been a problem for awhile. management should have certainly gone to a store and purchased soap for the guests until the order of soap comes in. I would score the management a 1 of 10 on this problem but overall I would stay here again for a work trip.

Nice place to stay in a pinch
Friendly staff and very affordable. I was staying at the Holiday inn and suites in Rock Falls when they said they couldn't extend my stay so i went to country inn and suites. For a fraction of the cost and the stay was in many ways nicer. Breakfast isn't much to look at but outside of that it was a great stay. Breakfast is better at Holiday inn but fire the difference in price is not worth it! Besides that the Breakfast at Holiday isn't all that good either... do yourself a favor and save your money and stay at Country inn and suites.

The facility was nice and clean. The air conditioning didn’t cool very well and the water pressure was terrible. But the worst thing was that they were OUT OF SOAP! When I asked the front desk about it I was told they were waiting for their delivery ... and she offered no solution. Later I called and asked for extra bottles of shampoo so we could use it in place of the soap. They could have gone across the street to Walmart and bought a couple of cases of bar soap and made everyone happy, but they didn’t. We were in town for the Little League State Championship Tournament. Probably 2/3 of the people staying there (maybe more) were Little League players and families. The boys played 2 games on Saturday and were hot and sweaty, and they had NO SOAP to shower with. This is unacceptable
