Needs Maintenance

Upon entering the lobby, I knew this was a foreign-owned hotel. The plastic sheet separating the customers from the attendent at the front desk with holes punched was reminiscent of a covid period and was very unattractive. Our room was clean, functional and had everything we needed. However, there was repair work that needed done on the sheet rock. In fact, all over the facility there was deterioration and maintenance needed. The pool was particularly ugly, empty and full of trash like it had been abandoned. I was pleasantly surprised by breakfast the next morning. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained and well stocked and the lady taking care of breakfast was friendly.

Waste of money

No curtains in my room, just a pull down shade. This made it hard to get some sleep. Woke up early the next morning to get back on the road and the shower didnt work. There was no one at the front desk, which it was before 6am. I would have been better off just sleeping in my car plus I wouldn't be out $120 Even a partial refund would have evened things out.

Overall this hotel was fine. Dated and broken furniture in rooms. Our room had a toilet that wouldn’t flush correctly. Staff got us another room. Again furnishings were dated (chipped paint on desk), stains on the chair. AC worked great. We got less than what I’ve paid the same price ($150) for at other hotels.

I don’t want to say anything bad because your budget will likely determine if you stay at $100 or $150 a night This place is a basic motel with live in staff. Being a cheap motel, most residents are going to be construction crews passing through, truckers, and one night stands. As expected I found it noisy inside and a typical work crew spending the night were drinking and loud music in parking lot. Room was OK very dated and musty smell and carpet hadn’t cleaned at min guest prior to my stay since there was dirt and light gravel on floor. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was typical continental. OJ, coffee, cereal, bread for toast, and bagels. No proteins.

Area was fine, staff very friendly but found a live cockroach in the room. Checked beds moved some stuff never saw another one. But made me a little nervous about staying.
