Great location and great value
The palce is ina a great location, the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious with many amenities and clean. There are some maintenance items though. The blinds we broken, the television had no reception and I had to reconnect the cable box. The key cards were a bit glitchy but I got by. The breakfast offerings met expectations but not fancy. Very good value overall but they should keep on top of the upkeep.

It was not at the address. Calls to the number of the hotel at an 833 code would not recognize my reservation, including the number! Looking for directions. Told to wait to connect to the actual site, but could be long! Too long !!! Minutes in a dark unknown area! Had to bail to another site! Help me understand what happened here! ASAP, If I ever trust ExPedia again. A SCAM?

The property has been run down over the past decade that we have been coming to it. The heat didn't work in the first room. They tried to switch us to another room but the door wouldn't open. The 3rd room was OK, but they didn't explain how to use the two different heat systems and the fireplace was on all night!!

It seems like this hotel was fancy and nice a long time ago and has had very shoddy repairs and maintainence for a long time. Parking is a block away. The staff are very kind and helpful though.

The deluxe room had a separate sitting area which was nice when I wanted to eat something while watching tv. Also had a jet-tub installed . The bed was fine if you like them firmer.

There was nowhere close at all to park which wasnt helpful in the snow and wind. No microwave in the room to heat water. The room was cold and only had a gas fireplace. Very little food choice for breakfast. Huge $200. Incidentals deposit.

Room dud not match picture or description. Buikding in ill repaur. Ned buikt backwards, mold in bathroom. Did not honour late check out nor any kjnd of compensation for last minute notice for not honoring. Breakfast was grls, piece of fruit or quaker packets of oats. Would avoid at all cost. Highly over pruced fir whats offered. "Suite" is a srandard room in any other hotel. Poor customer service, not kept up, cleanliness was poor.

Works for location
We stay at this hotel because of the location and price. It would be nice if in the winter there was a blanket on the bed other than 2 sheets, or better heat in the room. Also they gave us a parking voucher that didn’t work so had to pay for parking ourselves. The staff is friendly and the rooms are ready when we arrive to check in (which doesn’t always happen at other hotels) hotel serves its purpose, will stay again , but will bring my own blanket.

Television didn’t work properly and is so small may as well watch your phone. The club across the street thumped music until 2:45 am. Breakfast has nothing hot other than toast. Aging building with no appearance of any upgrades. Not a great place to rest but cheap for having a wild party in the room as no one seems to care.

Quaint but dated hotel in the downtown core
Check in was excellent and seamless. Got the keys and were in the room in about 5 minutes. Room was spacious if a but strangely laid out. Beds were comfortable however the pillows were a but soft. The room was quite warm when we arrived. A portable air conditioner was in place to help with that but it was very noisy. Overall the stay was decent and great value for the price.
