The room was good and the stay was good but the carpet in there was disgustingly dirty. If you cleaned the carpet and fixed the drapes (wash) it would be perfect. I really liked that I could that my dog was welcome and we made use of the pathway by the river. Thank youl

Friendly helpful service. Room provided what we needed. 2 identical TV remotes made it difficult to operate TV. parking lot needs repair. Great view !! Should have a tub mat and a handle to hold in the shower. Also grip mats on outdoor stairs to help in the rain. Thank you

I'm pretty sure either Travelocity and/or the Travelodge location did a bait n switch on the price I was quoted. I ended up paying about $250 more than when I booked. Stupid me I didn't prepay. Won't make that mistake again. Also should have taken a screenshot of the prices. Will make sure I do that next time also. As for the room it was on a second floor walk up which was very difficult for my wife as she has COPD and found it very difficult to even do that. Also stupid me I should have requested a ground floor unit. Won't make that mistake again either. I told the person on staff ( who was very nice - 'Princess') that we would stay the 1 night and then find another room elsewhere. So we got situated on the top floor and I went back to the lobby and was told they just had a cancellation and we could have a room on the ground floor on the river side of the motel. Less noise than the parking lot side. Nice, then I tried to see how the TV worked and couldn't get it turned on so I tried to use the phone but there was no dial tone. So, off to the office I go again. Princess came to the room a few minutes later and showed us how to manually turn the TV on as the remote was not 100% functional. I could now change channels but could not mute commercials. Day 2 had my shower and saw we only had 1 bath towel and 2 face cloths. Off to the office I went explained the towel situation & was given 1 extra towel. The Happy Belly restaurant next door has very good food, service & prices.

We booked a room with a jetted tub (Suite, 1 King Bed, Non Smoking, Jetted Tub). The room was fantastic, super spacious and clean as a whistle. The jetted tub was beautiful and has plenty of room for two people. Our room was a great price and comes with a buffet breakfast - they had the niftiest little pancake machine as part of the breakfast buffet - all included in room price. Centrally located, a great spot to stay when visiting the local attractions.

Overall a good experience. The river view was a bonus. Rooms are fine but for some reason, and this may be a local bylaw, but water pressure at the vanity was really low. Barely a trickle at times. I noticed the same at the golf course so it may be a water conservation issue. We stayed at 2 Travelodges on our trip and they both had us having to stay on the 2nd floor because the 1st floor was for guests with pets. We had to carry all our things up the stairs at both places. They should change that so older folks can stay on the ground floor too, even without pets.
