Check-in took too long. We arrived 30 minutes early and the hotel made us wait. 4 o’clock came around and it still wasn’t ready. They gave us another room anyway so, why make us wait? The key cards were used and worked intermittently for the elevators and room door which was a pain for a bigger family. Staff was lame and rude all around. Front desk - no work attire or name tags, no smiles. Kitchen staff - tired and late, all sass. Dining area is way too small for the amount of people they have to feed. Parking is across busy Lake Avenue with 2 hour parking down the block but you probably won’t get to use it because it’s filled with bar patrons.

Couldn't check in until 5:50pm due to rooms not being ready. It took three times until we got a room. There were multiple people with the same issue on the same night. It was a mess. At checkout the next morning, a gal said she had two random people enter her room at night while she was in bed. They were issued the same room key. What a nightmare.We will not be returning.

3 phones but none worked. Used cell to call every number multiple times for hotel but never got an answer from the desk or reservations & calls eventually disconected. Complained to desk staff at checkout & only answer was, maybe they were on break! Suite was spacious with nice whirlpool tub, in living room though. 2 bathrooms was nice too. No view tho.

We got there on a SUNDAY. Check in was to be at 4:00. We got there at 4:05. Room was not ready. Asked how long? Should only be another 15-30 minutes. Sorry about that. Check again. STILL not ready. FINALLY, was ready around 530. 1 1/2 hours past check in time. She did apologize, i said OH! it is ready now? great, I was actually looking up different hotels to check into when you called my name. She did said she would give a $50.00 credit ( how kind). for them being late. Go up to the room. The keys not working so great, so had to shake/fight with those. The hallway was FULL of towels, bedding, cleaning room supplies, carts littered all over the place. Had to step over/on top of things, just to get to the room. Besides, being a TOTAL FIRE HAZARD, what if a wheelchair had to get through? a disabled person? AC not working. ( it WAS hot for MN). Let them know about that. It was temporarily fixed for the first night. The next day, it was out again/ could not be adjusted/used. Upon checking out, the check out staff asked if I wanted a printed receipt, or email. I asked for printed one, thankfully, as the credit was NOT on there. the girl said oh! Sorry, I did not even notice that. I will credit your account. You better believe I will be checking my bank account to make sure the credit is there, and there will be no more stays at the Suites from this couple. Good Luck!

We appreciate having access to a rental that has a whole kitchen and fridge. The bed was nice, comfortable and clean. Great television and restaurants galore. What I did not like was checking in and going to use the bathroom the toilet needed cleaning and fingernails littered the. Floor.

If I could I would give this a negative star. It is far from “sweet”. The building it self is awesome. There is a lot of beautiful architecture in the building however the rooms leave a lot to be desired. For the price I thought I had a beautiful room like I’ve had at Fitger’s Inn. Not even close! The furnishings look like something they got at a hotel auction from the 80’s. The seating/kitchenette area looked like someone had a food fight. Stains on the upholstery. I wouldn’t sit on the couch for fear of what might be on it. The lighting in the bathroom was horrible but it might be so you couldn’t see the mold on the floor tile. The sink area had a very dim light so if you needed to do make up you were out of luck. The bedroom other than the view not any better. The tv is super tiny - not that I was there to watch it but seriously. One of the lights to turn it off and on you had to unplug it. I’m pretty sure the king size mattress was stuffed with tissue paper. The pillows were about the only thing I enjoyed. Stay tuned I’m worried may get lice. In a nutshell great bones to what could be an outstanding hotel.

Upon arrival at check in time- we were told our room was dirty and not ready for check in. We sat in the lobby fir almost 2 hours before being let in our room and the staff was quite rude. Never will stay at this location again- what a joke.
