This was good. Did the trick for what we were looking for, for a one night stay. The staff were super friendly. Honestly were only got there to sleep and left early the next morning. The breakfast was simple but good enough. The bed was comfy. Yeah. I'd stay here again.

They tried, but didnt quite succeed to revitalize the property with updated rooms. The new vinyl flooring and stock photos of niagara falls did not distract from thin walls and floors, nor the outdated bathrooms with peeling paint. New carpet in the hallways would go a long way, as it sets low expectations for the stay. The breakfast was very basic, but included.

House adjacent to Hotel is vacant and a lot of litter strewn around. Floors of Hotel wooden and anyone walking overhead with shoes on was very noisy.

My wife and I were on the ground floor in room 101 from Sunday Sept 22 to Tue.Sept 24. The room was quiet until Monday afternoon when some one moved in to the room above us and stomped around like an elephant stomping feet back and forth on the room, banging furniture, scraping chairs on the floor, and slamming cupboard doors. This went on for over an hour from 6 pm to 7 pm. I went to the desk and complained. Desk manager went up to the room. 10 minutes later the noises started again. Went to front desk and manager came into our room and heard the noise and went upstairs again. Noise pretty well stopped. Then Tuesday mornong at 5:39 AM the noises started again and went on until 6:30 when we went to the breakfast room. Came back from breakfast and checked out. IF WE COME HERE AGAIN, we will ask for an upper floor room. We came to Peterborough from Gananoque because I have a dermatologist appointment with Dr. Freeman once a year at the Peterborough Clinic

The noise from several other guests. I will NEVER stay there again. DO NOT GO on a weekend if you are looking for a good night rest. Thin walls and ceilings, two inches between the front room door and ground, guests drinking and partying all night, people slamming doors from 12am to after 3am, people in the hallways talking loudly after 1am--nothing done to stop the noise. Did not get much sleep and had to cancel my commitment/event that I was in Peterborough for. Do not get a room by the elevator as there is none stop noise. To add to injury, I cancelled the second night due to what occurred the first night and Expedia will not refund me )-: So disappointed!

I liked the nice big rooms but upon my family and I checking in we was given keys to a room that was already occupied. It was so embarrassing to walk into a room with people already staying in there. We went back downstairs and the front desk guy had no idea that the room was occupied. We got the situation resolved and we were placed into another room.

It would have been nice to have an arm chair or something in the room instead of just a plastic chair in the corner, but otherwise it was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were lovely.

Came from almost 2 hours away for a family function. They were so nice and helpful. Hotel was clean and rooms are newly renovated. Breakfast included and had a good variety like bagels, waffle maker, sausages, eggs and more. Alot of stores, restaurants and Tim Hortons within walking distance. They have a pool as well. Plenty of parking on premises. Would definitely stay again if in town.
