This was our first hotel stay without a complimentary breakfast. it looked like all the same foods for $17 a person. We were very disappointed and went to the Honeydew next door for breakfast. We found a used bobby pin and a large toe nail on our floor. Staff was great, desk staff very friendly and helpful. The gym was a nice facility.
People at the front desk are very unpleasant and not very accommodating. Also the hotel charges for parking without disclosing that prior to booking. My bed sheets had blood stains. When I inform the person at the front desk she indicated that the staff is very diligent about keeping the rooms clean but she did not do anything to address the issue. In short, being in this hotel felt like being at a cheap motel. I would not recommend this place

Clean and well appointed. The rooms are large. Staff are very helpful; particularly Ray in the restaurant!
Communication could have been more up-front about a parking fee -- $27 for two nights. The area is Not downtown Newport -- there did not appear to be a limited supply of parking and I wasn't expecting to charged extra for parking in an area where parking was not at a premium.
