Very comfortable here and Edinburgh and Royal Mile are right outside. Edinburgh is an expensive city but it is well worth it

First we were given keys to an already occupied room. Then a car alarm in the car park sounded for more than an hour starting at 2:00 am, preventing further sleep. Then the fire alarm went off at 5:30 so we had to evacuate. Let back in, the alarm went off again. Since we had an early flight we packed up and left at 6:00am. Total of four hours sleep. I will be requesting a refund.

Convenient for castle and Royal Mile. Great breakfast choice and nice bar. We walked all the way to Arthur’s seat which was about 40 mins walk

I stayed at the hotel for three nights. The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff are accommodating however the hotel itself was a bit run down with the hallways looking particularly worn and the bathrooms were not particularly clean. When we checked in there was a bit of a sharpened pencil in the sink). There is also no air conditioning which is probably not needed most of the year but on one of the warmest days in Edinburgh would have been very welcome.
