Front desk staff and concierge the very best service the hotel has to offer. The service in the restaurant was consistently poor. Every morning I had to ask at least twice to get a cup of coffee. Food very average based upon other experiences in a month of travels

Hotel was in great condition, very well decorated. Staff were amazing in their friendliness and helpfulness. The location is perfect for exploring Edinburgh. One thing left it missing the 5th star on the review, which was the size and layout of the bathroom. The door opened inwards to the bathroom and there was not even space to open it fully. The bathroom was tiny (one person only at a time). You had to "navigate" your way in and out of it past the door. For those that have movement difficulties, book a more premium room here. Hotel is definitely worth staying at, just get the premium room instead of standard.

Very nice hotel in a location not too far from the Royal Mile. We walked from the hotel to Edinburgh castle and up and down the Royal Mile. It was in a quiet location and the rooms are really nice.

5 people in our group with 3 rooms. We enjoyed the location. Walked everywhere including Hollrood and the Royal mile to the Castle. Staff were very helpful. I suspect parking may be difficult but we picked up our rental car the day we left on our drive around Scotland however it was hard to find a place to load the van. No Parking near the entrance. We did not eat at the hotel
