The room we initially checked into smelled like dog pee and we had to get some spray from the front desk to make it tolerable. Then the cable wouldn’t work and even though the front desk clerk tried to fix it, it still wasn’t working. We got switched to a different room and it was cleaner and had a working tv.
Both rooms had bathrooms that were desperately in need of proper repair. The drywall or plaster had been poorly repaired all around the tub, the toilet seats looked like they were older than I am (completely discolored and paint chipped), and the ceilings had water damage and peeling plaster. This was the same in both rooms we were placed in.
Our bed was very unsupportive. I woke up after 2 hours in excruciating back pain. I couldn’t wait til breakfast! At least the bed was clean.
The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. Biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, toast. There was a little of everything.
