Once we got into our room we felt better about things. The room was spacious and clean. The gal at the counter was very nice and helpful. The bed was comfy. It's an older property and could use some updating, but it wasn't bad. The only downside is it's in kind if a sketchy area. There were tons of homeless in the area. The parking is inside a locked gate.

What a pleasant suprise. The staff at this property gave me a heads up that my reserved room had a serious problem from previous guest and upgraded my stay. The whole visit was exceptional because of staff, cleanliness and a good breakfast. I was a late midnight check-in with no issues. The staff was super friendly and helpful for the entire visit. Comfortable bedding, great shower , plenty of room with coffee and large fridge. Very pleasant stay...

This is the one and only PLACE I will stay in Eureka. The staff remembered me and continues to remember me every time I visit. They are accommodating to my request to stay in the main building as I travel alone to see my granddaughter. I have all my family staying there too if they come to Eureka.

I choices this hotel because listed as 3-star. But the room conditions and food at breakfast have no difference then normal 2-star hotel. It's great that has the gated packing lot.

Very nice staff. We arrived later than planned. She switched our room so my 90 year old mother didn’t have to climb stairs. She even came across the parking lot and helped me get into the room. Far above any service we’ve received from other hotels on this trip. We would stay here again. Hands down.

Not so great 8.

the hotel is a not so great renovated (awhile back) older hotel. Hotels.com gave it an 8.2 rating but it should be more like 7.2. The furnishings are very old and dinged up. the room we stayed in had paint peeling from the trim in the bathroom and a piece of paneling nailed to the bottom of the door to hide a hole.
