This was a last minute stay, I didn't expected to be as good as it was. Late check in and customer service was good. I didn't catch the breakfast so not sure if it was good but eat good. Room was clean and had a microwave, and small fridge. I definitely will stay again if I needed.

The only issue I did not like wss that the Expedia description said pet friendly, but did not say there wss a pet fee. So I called Days Inn which turned out to be there reservations number, the guy tried to tell me I qould have to pay a higher room rate yo get a guaranteed room reservation. And the pet fee wss $10/day. I said no thanks and then called the days inn front desk at the hotel in Evansdale. They said room is guaranteed, and the pet fee wss $20/day. So that confusion wss not appreciated, but the hotel and our stay was very good.

Great stay free breakfast was delicious. We stayed 8 nights. The only suggestion I have is to mix up the breakfast a little. They serve the same thing every morning. The other suggestion is to communicate length of stay as we were questioned why we were not leaving a day before we were supposed to leave. Apologies were accepted & everyone was pleasant & nice. Again great place to stay. It was quiet even though it was near 2 truck stops & it was busy the first weekend we were there.

Good value
The value is very good, rooms overall in good shape, and recently updated. The beds are high off the ground but comfortable. Staff are friendly. Our biggest concern was the pervasive cigarette smoke scent throughout the hotel. It hits you like a brick when you walk into the lobby and it permeated our room on the 1st floor. If you’re a smoker or the smell doesn’t bother you, this is a good option in the area. If it does, it may be worth exploring other spots.

An older hotel. Claimed no pets allowed but socks and baseboards did have pet hair on them. Breakfast was your basic breakfast. Beds were comfortable.

****Families with small children beware*** We booked a room with 3 queen beds. The beds were very high off the floor. The floors had no carpet, which made the room inhospitable for a family with small kids. Not a comfortable environment for playing around in the room or on the floor etc. Asked for extra towels and was handed a wadded up mess of towels instead of a stack of folded ones. Desk clerk began helping me check in and then took a phone call and instead of placing that customer on hold she made me wait while she did their booking for them over the phone. Unprofessional: you should always help in person customers first. Breakfast was decent but dining room was small. Overall, not a great experience.

I traveled all night long, was able to check in early (for a fee), the area and hotel was quiet and I was able to take a nap prior to my business that night. The only thing I would have liked to have was to have an elevator to my 2nd floor room due to my age. The pool was nice, the temperature of the water was just right.
