Hotels.com did not tell us the hotel was undergoing renovations. So there was construction noise starting at 8am!! No restaurant or lounge. Then management did not think - golly, it’s 17 degrees out for days, there is no room service, and delivery service will get guests food that is frozen cold when they get it to you - but maybe a microwave in the front lobby might help! Breakfast was nice with very good and friendly service - but really, make shift buffet really worth $40? No other food available close by. Also, could not solve my Hyatt club number problem

Despite being located in NJ, it's actually very convenient travelling to downtown NYC via PATH. Hoboken (great dining options and lower priced than NYC) and Newport (shopping) are also just 1 - 2 stops away. My room came with views of midtown NYC. What I didn't like were the thin walls. We had a noisy neighbor for 1 out of 6 nights we stayed and their voice permeated all the way passed midnight. The other peeve is the toilet light that switches off automatically after a preset time (it did so while I was soaking in the bath tub).

Not so quiet stay..
The hotel is experiencing upgrades so there is a makeshift reception that gets easily over crowded by the main front door. Was woken up very early in the mornings with hammering and drilling right above our room. Very limited hotel menu for food on the property.

Great view but overpriced
I thought the hotel rate was much hogher especially with the on going construction. It doesnt matter if youre traveling for the weekend. Still doing construction. The view is great and its conveniently licated next to a sub station.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and disgust with the recent experience I had with your services. Despite the hotel acknowledging the roach infestation in the room I was initially assigned, Expedia and the hotel has refused to provide a full refund. It is utterly unacceptable to be charged for a room that was clearly infested with roaches. This is a severe health hazard and a gross violation of basic cleanliness standards. The fact that the hotel itself admitted to the issue and suggested a refund from Expedia further highlights the negligence on your part. Yet now when I ask for my refund Expedia is saying the hotel is denying the refund. This series of unfortunate events has significantly tarnished my perception of Expedia's commitment to customer satisfaction and well-being. I demand a full refund for the entire stay. This is not a matter of mere inconvenience but a serious health concern. Your lack of empathy and willingness to rectify the situation is appalling. I will not hesitate to share my experience on social media platforms and review websites to warn others about your substandard practices.

Alfonso at the front desk was amazing! We took an overnight flight so showed up to the hotel at 6am. Check in isn’t until 4pm. He got us a room at no extra charge! The staff overall was superb. The PATH is right there, just plan for extra money on your Metrocard bc it’s a separate swipe for the NJ PATH and separate swipe for NY subway.
