Very good

The actual condo is quite nice and well appointed. But the building turns into a party building on the weekends and beer cans are thrown all over the hot tub area. There was a loud beer chugging party going on above our condo on Saturday afternoon. I think weekdays might be family friendly but weekends certainly are not. We had the power go out on Saturday during our stay which was unfortunate but there isn't a single flashlight in the condo. When it was approaching night time (after over 5 hours of the power being out) we decided to leave as our children would have been scared and if we were to stay without power we would have had to drive to Sparwood to get flashlights and supplies. Management didn't bother to ask how we were doing without power and when we asked for a refund after our holiday was cut short they simply said it was not possible. We wouldn't recommend this place if you have children because of the party atmosphere. It is much cheaper than renting a condo in timberline from Fernie Lodging Company but I think that for the communication and experience it is still not worth the savings.

Disliked: Room comfort
Hot tub was not open for one day, had to go elsewhere after a long trip. Next day the lock got broken and we could not get into the room, waiting for a service close to an hour. After maintenance came in and still did not solve the problem, we have to leave in our sweaty clothes ( after a day of skiing) to wait till it fixed. Kind of ruined the whole day...
Loved that it was up at the ski hill. Very comfortable beds and clean room, it had been raining so was damp outside and the hot tub outside was closed which the ad said was open. Other than that really no complaints. Liked to that we only dealt with people on line. Perfect. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
Couldn’t get ahold of the owners therefore we couldn’t use the pool or hot tub as we had no code and we had to find out from other guests where to take garbage out to

Our son have a small accident and he have to wait until next day to get deliver clean sheets, we expend two nights and they never touch the bed or bath.

Liked: Staff & service
This property was interesting. The location was good, a quick drive into town and the area was pretty being along side the mountain. I guess, you get what you pay for, the nightly rate but pretty low. But
The property looks brand new and very clean. What I didn't like about it was the lack of air conditioning which meant the room temperature was between 77 & 78 degrees F all night, and the lack of coffee and coffee cups to go with the coffee maker in the room. What upset me the most was being charged about the same amount in taxes and fees as the amount displayed in large red numbers on the Expedia site, with this extra amount mentioned only in "fine print."
After a day of biking in +33 weather, we were looking forward to a nice cool evening relaxing. The picture in hotels.com is of the new section of Timberline Condos which have air conditioning, we were put in the older section which apparently does not have air conditioning. It was a ver hot and uncomfortable evening. Other than that the condo was nice for the price.
Very clean but extremely basic unit. A little difficult to find the unit as the property isn’t signed very well. TV, towels and soap are the only amenities. No glasses or ice the single beds were very hard and the pillows uncomfortable. Little in the way of food available in the area without driving to town. Would have to be sure to get unit with the kitchenette to be in anyway comfortable
