Freezing cold room

My room was so cold. They brought a tiny oil radiator up, this did not help. I went to bed fully clothed and barely slept. Although i paid for parking, there are insufficient spaces for the amount of gym and hotel guests, had to park on grass. Will not stay here again

Just ok….

Hotel stay was absolutely fine. It’s did the job for the money I paid for one night. I was really disappointed however, that the room I booked did not resemble what was illustrated on the websites. Tiny dressing table in the corner. Kettle etc was perched on top of a small random bedside chest. Barely room for the kettle. Shortage of power sockets/ USB charging points. For it being a double-double room the facilities were barely suitable for 2 people. Very small TV too. Bathroom was clean but floor mat was very dirty so we didn’t use it. Water had obviously been getting into the wet wall at a join and it was brown and unsightly. I would stay again although my expectations have lowered. The marketing does not even start to match the reality.

Absolutely fantastic break. Lovely staff especially wee Kerris in the restaurant. Pool area was amazing. So much more relaxing to have a warm pool. Food was amazing too.

Parking charges!!

Hotel was great, helpful friendly staff. I just objected to getting a £5 per night charge for parking my car in the car park. The hotel is quite remote so no other way of getting there. At least be up front and tell people about the charge before they book the room!

Very good hotel

Stayed at the village for a business trip and it was everything great and cosy. The staff is helpful and room conditions are also good. The gym is also very nice as well as the restaurant (good options on food and drinks)
