Very good, minor issues

We stayed at the resort for our wedding weekend and found the stay to be good overall. Our room’s A/C did not work for the first two days of our stay, so that was disappointing but the front desk gave us a free breakfast to offset the inconvenience. The staff was very friendly and willing to help, just seemed like there was no sense of urgency to try and fix the A/C issue.

All staff were very professional and friendly. Nice room with beautiful view . Restaurant was very nice the only compliant was that the staff had to keep opening and shutting the door at the restaurant to the outside that created a cold draft where we were sitting.

Beautiful place. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the staff were amazing. We loved the food as well! Had one of the best Eggs Benedict for breakfast. The place is located conveniently close to Garden of the Gods park.

Wasn’t what we expected. The hotel is nice. The view is amazing. But the service was lacking. We had a very late arrival. But the following day, no one greeted us. Never were given a proper tour of the resort. Just wasn’t a welcoming feeling at all. The room was beautiful although there was some weird stain on the sheets when we arrived. The wifi was down the whole week we were there. Fire alarm going off in the middle of the night forcing us to wait in the cold. We were told a birthday dinner would be complimentary and to charge it to the room. Well the charge processed and was never refunded by the hotel. And now we are being charged for spa services that we never received. We voiced our complaints but it seems they fell onto deaf ears. Or they just didn’t care. Unfortunately I was tired of texting and messaging and tracking down the hotel staff for updates on WiFi or if things that were promised, were kept. It shouldn’t be your guests job to remind and check on the status of things. I’m sure others had pleasant experiences. But unfortunately ours was not.

Our check-in experience at the front desk, handled by Philip, was nothing short of a nightmare. From the start, Philip displayed a rude and dismissive attitude, leaving us frustrated and feeling unwelcome. His demeanor was completely unprofessional, showing no effort to assist us or provide the level of service one would expect at a property of this caliber. Instead of addressing our concerns, he seemed intent on rushing through the interaction, almost as if he was trying to get rid of us. His cold attitude and lack of basic courtesy only added to the stress of what should have been a smooth process. The situation became even more aggravating when he mentioned an express check-in process, which supposedly began at 2:30 PM. However, by nearly 4 PM, there was still no room ready for us. This mismanagement led to a long line of increasingly frustrated guests. The chaos was made worse by the fact that the second staff member at the desk appeared inexperienced and unprepared to handle the demands of the situation. It was evident that he was new to the role and lacked the necessary training, leaving him overwhelmed and unable to assist guests effectively. Adding to the frustration was the fact that this entire ordeal occurred despite our reservation being made two weeks in advance for a New Year’s stay. Shockingly, we received no prior communication, such as an email or notification, informing us about the need for a reservation confirmation or any additional steps we should have
