Worst hotel experience ever
The night clerk was not at the desk when we went to check in. Had to ring the bell and he was like I’ll be right there I’m warming up my food. Cool no problem well then he gets to desk and it takes him another five minutes to actually come up to the desk to check us in. He then proceeded to offer my two year old a water bottle which we refused. And then he proceeded to say he wasn’t talking to us he was talking to her. We finally get to our room. We came out to get ice and I asked for more bags he proceeded to ask my 2y/o for a high five and she gave him one he then proceeded to grab her wrist and ask a million questions. On the way back to our room he asked her for another high five and then grabbed her wrist again and said “ you come home with me you don’t go with your parents. “ he made me , my husband and my daughter uncomfortable. We checked out the next day.

I purchased 2 kings via hotels.com, but got 2 queens. I showed the front desk my email confirmation and he said take it up with my manager tomorrow morning. Off-putting attitude.

Stay for 1 night. We were arriving very late. We were at a Va Tech FB game and traffic out of Blacksburg was bad. Hotel called to ask for an approximate arrival time to ensure they didn't give our room up. Every hotel in the area and out lining areas was booked. Arrived at 940pm for checkin and it went great. Recommend!

Light shocked and standing
The room was clean as well as the rest of the facility. The light fixtures had a strange variety of light bulbs; from super warm 2700, lower wattage bulbs to super bright 5000, high wattage bulbs. The breakfast area only had a few tables which quickly filled up with people in the morning. Other than this the place served its purpose, although like most all hotel rates now a days, makes it hard to feel you got your monies worth.
